Abstract (EN)

Centrifugal clutches run using two fundamental force: a centrifugal forces and friction force. Friction force and torque increase with the square revoluation for motor per minute This dependence on revolution is an advantage for the motor due to the natural delay in the revolution of the centrifugal clutches These clutches provide motor to start as unloaded and the starting torque to be small. Therefore the motor can be chosen according to the service conditions and the motor size, because smaller. Centrifugal clutches, additionally, ease the starting and behave as a saffety clutch in overloaded conditions. Since centrifugal clutches run depending on the revoluation, the torque is transmitted by the friction elements. The friction elements can be in the shape of plate, billet, ring or cylinder. The magnitude of the torque which can be transmitted alter depending on the mass and revolution, of the friction elements and the inner diameter clutch. The biggest disadvantage of these clutch are relatively short service lives due to frictions and vibrations start-stop periods and service conditions. Thus this should be considered if there are difficulties in maintanence due to the service conditions. Reducing the friction and vibrations in these clutches are possible only by using dampers. This means, on the other hand, higher service costs. In this study theseVI problems (friction and vibration) were reduced to a minumum level by designing a new type a mechanical rotary damper. In this study considering the clutches and dampers used in the space and satellite system, a new type mechanical rotary damper was designed and produced. The damper run as a centrifugal clutches and damps the vibrations itself. After producing the design parameter which were essential in calculating the performance characteristics and the load transmission capacity were determined.
