Abstract (EN)

Babies, who are born too early and/or born with some problems, can't keep their body warm in necessary life level that's why care is needed. Baby incubator is produced to supply for these requirements. The incubators carry out heating, ventilation, and humidification functions. Therefore, performance testing of these incubators is also important. Performance tests of neonatal incubators are performed as per TS EN 60601-2-19 standards. Available test equipments are insufficient in point of their technological features, measuring capacities and parameters that measure the genus and number of. In this thesis, an neonatal performance testing unit - ALMULA has been performed to measure the parameters of ultraviolet light intensity and oxygen saturation. ALMULA has resolution about 2 times higher than available devices. ARM7 Cortex M3 microcontroller has been used in ALMULA as a controller. MDK ARM Keil-C compiler program has been used in system for microcontroller program. Measurements can be carried out by ALMULA that are 90 times higher than available devices. ALMULA is 5 times cheaper than the cheapest available devices.
