Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to reveal the effect of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on employee performance in domestic and foreign capital enterprises. In this context, three basic concepts were emphasized in the study. The first is job satisfaction, the second is organizational commitment, and the third is the concept of employee performance. Job satisfaction is the satisfaction or positive thoughts about the roles of the employees and the work they do in order to achieve the predetermined goals and objectives of the organizations they are in. Organizational commitment is the psychological feelings that employees have for adopting the goals and values of the organizations they are affiliated with, maintaining their commitment to the organization and feeling like a family member. Employee performance, on the other hand, is the process in which the level of reaching the targeted goals in terms of quantity and quality is determined by exhibiting appropriate attitudes and behaviors in organizational work. The study was carried out on a total of 500 employees in two different enterprises with domestic and foreign capital operating in the forest products industry. In order to examine the relationship between the variables, the convenience sampling method was preferred. The opinions of the employees included in the sample on the subject are the job satisfaction, organizational commitment and employee performance scales "Strongly disagree (1), Disagree (2), Neither agree nor disagree (3), Agree (4) and Strongly agree (5)" five-point Likert based on the scale. After the classification of the collected data, reliability and validity analyzes were performed using the SPSS 22.0 statistical program regarding the scales. As a result of the statistical analysis, it has been determined that job satisfaction has a positive effect on organizational commitment and employee performance, and there are positive and significant relationships between them.
