Abstract (EN)

This research aims to examine the effects of the "Yurt-Time Sports Project," a structured intervention designed to mitigate sedentary lifestyle habits among university students by integrating exercise into part-time work routines. Designed within a relational screening model and cross-sectional framework, the study analyzes the relationships between students' physical activity (PA) levels, participation motivation, and enjoyment levels in the context of demographic variables and project dynamics. The findings revealed a positive but weak correlation ($\rho \approx .09$) between enjoyment of physical activity and activity volume (MET); however, motivational factors demonstrated a high predictive power on enjoyment (ΔR² ≈ .65). Specifically, "individual reasons" positively predicted enjoyment, whereas "amotivation" had a strong negative effect. Regarding the impact of project participation on PA, no statistically significant difference was found in continuous metrics (MET), although a limited improvement was observed at the categorical level. This discrepancy is attributed to the sensitivity limitations of self-report scales (IPAQ) and the structural barriers inherent in university life. Demographic analyses indicated that male students had significantly higher PA volumes compared to females, while female students' motivation was shaped primarily by "individual benefits." The lack of a significant age effect on PA suggests that university students exhibit a homogeneous inactivity profile driven by "time poverty" and academic pressures, independent of chronological age. In conclusion, the Yurt-Time Sports Project provides an example of an initiative that can help students overcome the obstacle of time constraints.
