Abstract (EN)

This study, in the context of Islamic law and social change, comprehensively analyzes Yusuf al-Qaradawi's approach to Islamic family law, focusing on his views on marriage, divorce, family structure, and gender roles. The study evaluates the impact of Qaradawi's ideas on the applicability and flexibility of Islamic law in the modern world. The central problem of the research is to explore how Qaradawi's approach to Islamic family law offers solutions in the face of changing societal structures, and how Islamic law can adapt to contemporary issues. Through examining Qaradawi's works and related academic literature, the study aims to assess how his interpretations within the framework of family law relate to the legal and social transformations in today's societies. The thesis consists of an introduction and two main chapters. In the introduction, Qaradawi's life, academic works, and scholarly legacy are discussed. The first chapter examines the topics of marriage and divorce in Islamic family law, while the second chapter provides a detailed analysis of Qaradawi's views on the regulations concerning marriage. The findings of the study offer valuable insights into how Islamic law can be adapted to contemporary issues, contributing to the academic debates in this field.
