Abstract (EN)
In this study, methacrylic acid and acrylonitrile were grafted onto sheep wool which is a natural adsorbent and surface imprinted was carried out using uranium and gluteraldehyde. The synthesized surface imprinted polymer was used as an adsorbent on enrichment of uranium with solid phase extraction and the optimum experimental conditions (pH: 5, eluent type: 3 M HClO4, eluent flow rate: 0.5 mL.dk-1, sample flow rate: 1 mL.dk-1 , eluent volume: 20 mL and sample volume: 750 mL) were obtained. Uranium measurements were made with UV-VIS spectrometer. The detection limit, the enrichment factor and the adsorption capacity of the developed method were found to be 1.03 μg.L-1, 37.5 and 90.09 mg.g-1, respectively. This synthesized polymer was used for the separation and enrichment of ion (VI) in seawater samples. At the same time, certified reference material (CRM) samples were applied for validation of the developed method and the U(VI) ion was quantitatively determined.
