Abstract (EN)

In this presented thesis study, the effect of the shear wall ratio predicted in TBDY-2018 on deformation-based behavior quantities was examined under the non-linear-elastic theory on reinforced concrete buildings with one way ribbed (asmolen) filled slab. For this, one shear wall-frame building with provide that the condition in TBDY-2018 overturning moment ratio, two shear wall-frame building in high ductility and the overturning moment ratio 0.60 and 0.45 besides one frame buildings in high ductility with no shear wall designed in accordance with Turkish standards and regulations. After the material, section and member based nonlinear force-deformation relationships were determined for building systems, columns and beams are modelled with one dimensional element and shear walls are modeled with Shell elements. In addition, to be used in time nonlinear history analyzes (NTHA), 11 real earthquake records are scaled to comply with DD-2 earthquake level in TBDY-2018. Within the scope of the study, NTHA's are performed on the three-dimensional calculation models of the reinforced concrete shear-wall and frame buildings and evaluated story displacement demands, interstory drift demands, story shear demands, formations of plastic hinges over the structural system, plastic deformation demands in the members and performance levels. Analysis results obtained; for reinforced concrete with one way ribbed slab with mixed ductility level, it is suggested that the overturning moment ratio should be applied as predicted for systems with high ductility level for such shear wall-frame building systems with a structural system. Displacement has shown that it gives more than enough reliable results in terms of deformation demands and distribution of damage level.
