Abstract (EN)

This study analyses the life of Shaykh Zayn al-Dīn Malibārī, his poem Hidāyat al-Adkiyâ ilā Tarīki al-Awliyā, and his Sufi views in detail within the framework of the commentaries on the poem and classical Sufi texts. Beginning with Malibārī's biography, the study comprehensively examines his educational process, scholarly journey, and religious services, centering on his poem Hidāyat al-Adkiyâ ilā Tarīki al-Awliyā. Utilizing methods of textual analysis, comparison, and synthesis, this research aims to help us understand Malibārī's understanding of Sufism and his place in Sufi thought. In this context, Melibārī adopted the Sunni-Ghazzālī understanding of Sufism, emphasized the central role of the Shariʿa, and proposed an approach that ensured the harmonious integration of Sufism with the Shariʿa. This perspective aims to establish a stronger bond between Sufism and the Shariʿa and to integrate it into all aspects of religious life. Additionally, the poem is concluded to be an important guide for translating Sufi teachings into practice and making them applicable in daily life. Melibārī's Sufi teachings focus particularly on ethics, âdāb, worship, and the spiritual journey, providing limited information on ma'rifah. He guides his followers by highlighting the dangers that may arise from the incorrect application of Sufi practices. Melibārī's poem and teachings provide a valuable source for understanding the richness and diversity of Sufi thought.
