Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to reveal the effect of technological applications that visitors use during the museum experience on their intention to recommend, within the scope of the expanded technology acceptance model. The population of the research consists of individuals visiting Antalya, Alanya and Aydın Archaeological Museums. The convenience sampling, which is a non-probability sampling technique, was used in the research. Data was obtained from a total of 420 visitors using online and face-to- face survey techniques between February 2024 and April 2024. 21 of the surveys were excluded from the analysis due to multiple answer and participants under the age of 18, and 399 were included in the analysis. The data obtained was analyzed through SPSS 27 and Smart PLS statistical programs, and structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data. According to the research results, self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use; It was determined that perceived innovativness had a positive, insignificant effect on perceived usefulness and a positive and significant effect on perceived ease of use. In addition, it was concluded that perceived usefullness and perceived ease of use have a positive significant effect on attitude towards use, attitude towards use has a positive significant effect on satisfaction, and satisfaciton has a positive significant effect on intention to recommend. Additionally, it has been concluded that technological applications have a positive, significant and high level of impact on visitors intention to recommend. Within the scope of the results of the relevant research, it is though that the museums visited at both national and regional levels and in the same destination will provide important outputs fort he local governments and tourism stakeholders to which they are affiliated.
