This thesis entitled "The Reflection of Poetry Criticism in Kurdish Journalism: Chawder Criticism as an Example" provides a critical re-reading of articles published in the appendix of the Chawder newspaper from 2005 to 2012. It explores various critical approaches within these articles with the aim of identifying shortcomings and offering solutions. The study functions on two levels: it identifies unresolved issues in criticism and addresses them while also working to solve challenges that are central to this type of literary criticism. The topic is of considerable importance in Kurdish literary research yet it has received limited scholarly attention. This thesis seeks to highlight the development of poetry criticism in Kurdish journalism and assess the level of Kurdish literary criticism through the evaluation of poetry reviews and collections guided by critical schools and principles. In addition to descriptive and analytical methods several other research approaches have been employed throughout the study. The scope of the research focuses on 42 poetry criticism articles published within the designated period. The thesis opens with an introduction followed by three chapters a conclusion a list of sources and an abstract. The first chapter provides a general discussion of literature with a specific focus on poetry divided into six key topics. The second chapter addresses the role of journalism in literary development examining a number of newspapers that have made notable contributions to poetry and literary research. The third chapter offers a detailed study of the Chawder newspaper analyzing its poetry-related articles through various critical frameworks، including historical, social, psychological constructivist, feminist , hermeneutic, symbolic, artistic and self-critical approaches. The study concludes that twenty of the reviewed articles lacked adherence to any specific critical school or principle while the remaining twenty-two reflected deliberate engagement with critical theories demonstrating expertise in various approaches.
Kürtçe ve İngilizcede deyimsel ve edatlı fiillerin mukayesesi
İngilizce ve Kürtçe aynı dil ailesinin üyeleridir ancak farklı kollarda bulunurlar ve bu durum her iki dil arasında benzerlik ve farklılıklara yol açmaktadır. Fiillerde de bu benzerlikleri ve farklılıkları görmek mümkündür ve fiiller dil öğrenmede çok önemli bir yere sahiptirler. Bu benzerlikler ve farklılıklar arasında deyimsel fiiller ve edatlı fiillerin varlığı da mevcuttur. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Kürtçe ve İngilizce dillerinde mevcut olan deyimsel fiiller ve edatlı fiilleri karşılaştırmaktır. Çalışma, Hint-Avrupa dil ailesi ile ilgili bilgilerle başlamaktadır. Deyimsel fiiller ve edatlı fiillerin yapısı temelinde fiil ve edatlara dayalı olduğundan dolayı çalışmanın ilk bölümünde bu iki sözcük türü ile ilgili bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Aynı bölüm fiiller ve edatlar hakkındaki bilgilerin yanı sıra, deyimlerin önemi ve iki dilde deyimsel fiillerin mukayesesi ile ilgili bilgiler içermektedir. Deyimsel fiiller nedir, nasıl oluşur, acaba iki dildeki deyimsel fiiller arasında farklar ve benzerlikler var mıdır gibi sorular da bu bölümde cevaplandırılmıştır. İkinci bölümde konu edatlı fiiller olup aynı tartışmalar bu fiil türü üzerinde yoğunlaştırılmıştır. Her iki bölümün son kısımları, Memê Alan adlı destandan deyimsel fiil ve edatlı fiil örnekleri barındırmaktadır.
