Yotin is a current faculty member (lecturer) at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Srinakharinwirot University, and a junior researcher in the field of aeropollen allergy, and environmental health and toxicology. His academic journey commenced with first-class honors from the Distinction Program at Mahidol University, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Plant Science. Subsequently, Yotin embarked on a Ph.D. expedition in medical science, with a specialization in Toxicology, under the tutelage of Asst. Prof. Dr. Wisuwat Songnuan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Toemsak Srikhirin from the Department of Plant Science and Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, respectively.
Yotin currently holds membership in several prestigious organizations, including the Center of Excellence on Environmental Health and Toxicology (EHT-PERDO) and the Systems Biology of Diseases Research Unit (SyBiD). Additionally, he has been an active junior member of several local, regional, and international allergy organizations, including the Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Association of Thailand (AAIAT), the Asia Pacific Association of Allergy, Asthma, and Clinical Immunology (APAAACI), the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI).
Yotin's research endeavors are primarily centered around aeropollen allergy, where he conducts comprehensive surveys of allergenic aeropollen and other airborne allergens. Additionally, he examines the influence of environmental dynamics on the allergenicity of atmospheric pollen. He has pioneered a detection platform for allergen-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) using microarray techniques, with the expert guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Toemsak Srikhirin and Asst. Prof. Dr. Chinnawut Pipatpanukul from the Department of Physics at Mahidol University and the Department of Advanced Materials Engineering at Burapha University, respectively.
In addition to his research interests, Yotin is a fervent advocate of research-based teaching and online learning resources aimed at enhancing education. During his leisure time, he indulges in creative pursuits, such as sketching, delving into historical knowledge, and crafting short articles.
