Abstract (EN)

The analytical destinations of literary texts in the contemporary Arabic novel have varied, due to the change and development witnessed by the Arabic novel in recent decades. Writers and writers adopted a different approach to the writing of the literary text, which was known for its distinctiveness in the narrative context, content and style, from the one that the reader used in Arabic literary works. And this cameThe approach is a result of the recent realistic, social, cultural and political changes in the Arab scene, which prompted writers and writers to adopt the model of purposeful literature. This model is based on criteria with toxic content in thought and expression, and is aimed at all readers of different cultural and social levels. Writer Ayman Al-Otoum is one of the writers who have been unique in the approach and curriculum in their recent work. The style, cultural inventory and purposeful content that characterised Ayman Al-Atoum made his novel works spread in the literary environment and among Arab readers like wildfire. For all these motives and advantages that we mentioned above in the works of the writer Ayman Al-Atoum, we relied in our research on the study of one of his literary products, which was characterised by its content and literary formulation. We chose the novel The Taste of Death because it contains the beautiful method of building the narrative text of the events, in addition to the realistic idea discussed by the novel, adopting the method of collapse and addressing the soul through penetration into existential questions. To answer the extent to which the novel The Tasting of Death has reached in the statement of the psychological dimension of the idea of death, love and freedom as a trilogy presented in the literary text, we have conducted a sequential analytical study, starting from the introduction and three main chapters and a conclusion. The introduction included a reference to the approach taken by the writer in writing his works, and the reason why we chose the novel The Taste of Death as a subject for study and analysis. After that, we moved to the first chapter, which included the origin and development of the Arabic and Jordanian novel and the biography of the writer Ayman El-Atoum and his literary works, in the second chapter in addition to studying the characters, time and place, In the third chapter we chose to research the method of intercourse and the title threshold in the novel that tastes of death. As for, it dealt with the psychological dimension of the themes of the novel (Death, Love, Freedom), in which we discussed the psychological dimension of each idea separately, while addressing the temporal and spatial dimension and psychological dimension of the characters in the novel from the angle of that trilogy. In the fouthd chapter, we discussed the literature of messages and correspondence in the novel The Taste of Death, by addressing the definition of correspondence linguistically and idiomatically, and the time of its appearance in Arabic literature, to deal with the analysis of the letters section in the novel The Taste of Death, which the writer cleared at the end of his novel, and the extent to which it has achieved from overlap in the narrative text. The conclusion was a presentation of our findings through the study and analysis of the novel. We condole that we have touched on research on this aspect, trying to avoid the failure to fulfil the analytical study of the methods used by the writer in his literary work. Keywords: Arabic novel.
