Al-ʿArf al-Nāsim ʿalā Risālat al-ʿAllāma Qāsim (From the Beginning of the Book to the End of the Chapter on al-Muʾawwal) Study and Verification Abstract The thesis consists of two parts: a study section and a verification section. The second part focuses on producing a critical edition of an important text that comprehensively covers most chapters of Uṣūl al-Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence). This text is a commentary on a well-known and widely circulated work among both general and specialized scholars—a standard instructional manual for Hanafi jurists in the principles of jurisprudence. Specifically, it is a commentary on Mukhtaṣar al-Manār by Ibn Ḥabīb al-Ḥalabī. The edition adheres to the established scholarly standards of textual verification. As for the first part, the thesis examines the commentator's life, the author of the original text (matn), and the commentator's methodology in his explanation. It also compares this commentary with other commentaries on the same text.
