This study deals with the Qur'anic words in Surahs al-Fatiha and al-Baqarah in light of the semantic approach and their use in developing the linguistic vocabulary for Arabic language learners. In its general framework, the study falls within the field of applied linguistics which is based on the experimental integration of a number of linguistic and metalinguistic theories in order to serve the purposes of language education. The aim of the study is to introduce a new concept based on a semantic approach and focusing on the Qur'anic words with the aim of developing students' linguistic vocabulary. This concept will improve students' communicative competence in multiple interaction contexts and facilitate their correct understanding of classical books without resorting to an intermediate language. Accordingly, my research aims to address the following problems: How can the linguistic vocabulary of Arabic language learners be developed in a way that enables them to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts contained in the Qur'anic words and classical books? What is the benefit of semantic approach in guiding them towards a rigorous analysis of Qur'anic words in order to achieve the desired level of understanding? To solve these issues, I favor the semantic approach which enables a more profound understanding of the contents of Islamic sciences in general and the objectives of the Holy Quran in particular. This is because learners' comprehension of words from a semantic perspective grants them the ability to engage closely with the Quranic discourse by training them to explore each word's lexical, semantic, and pragmatic meanings. "What we have concluded from the results is that enriching students' linguistic vocabulary by following the semantic approach method is one of the most important reasons for their success.
