Kur'an-ı Kerim'de Vakıf ve İbtida'nın eğitimsel ve davranışsal yönleri

Based on two fundamental pillars upon which societies are built and through which their progress and development continue, this research focuses on the most essential constitution that any society should follow, which is the Quran. It also emphasizes the most important methodology that guarantees a healthy and sustainable life for societies, which is education and behavior. The research is composed of three main chapters. The first chapter addresses education and behavior. It begins with the definition of these two terms and their uses in Islamic education, as well as the presentation of individual and collective meanings. The second section discusses the educational characteristics of the Quran, providing detailed examples. The third section covers the educational principles such as the necessity of learning and the companionship of the teacher and student. The fourth section examines educational values on all levels: personal, familial, social, and global. The fifth section delves into verbal and practical educational methods. Each chapter includes the linguistic and terminological meanings of the words and provides examples from the Quran and the Sunnah. After thoroughly exploring education and behavior in the Quran in the first chapter, the second chapter begins by defining the terms "pause" and "start" (waqf and ibtida') and differentiating them from cutting off (qata') and pausing briefly (sakt). It then explains their types and their relation to understanding the meanings of the Quran, highlighting their importance to scholars. The second section of the second chapter presents the different schools of thought on waqf and ibtida', focusing on the prominent views of Imam Al-Habti and Al-Sajawandi. The third chapter of the research presents examples of educational and behavioral pauses through the positions of waqf in the Quran. It examines twenty-five verses, identifying the pauses, explaining their impact on meaning, and highlighting the key educational and behavioral lessons derived from them. We ask God for acceptance.
