Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to clarify the importance of interpretation and deduction and the difference between them, and to elucidate Al-Hasan Al-Basri's approach to deduction. Additionally, the study sought to enrich the scientific library with a university thesis by collecting Al-Hasan Al-Basri's deductions from Qur'anic texts, emphasizing the high value of the first interpreters and the significant interpretive efforts they contributed to this nation. In order to achieve this, the researcher relied on employing the inductive method, which aims to gather the deductions of Imam Hasan Al-Basri. Furthermore, the analytical method was utilized, aligning with the nature of the topic, especially in certain areas and on specific issues that required clarification. The study yielded several conclusions, including the finding that it is not permissible for a muktab to assign the obligation of his charity to the muktab himself. Therefore, the letter came with the same system, yet they are different. The matter of war is delegated to specialists who possess opinions and insight, and they act in accordance with the public interest. If they determine that prisoners are to be killed, they proceed with it. If they observe that ransom is to be paid in the form of money or prisoners, they redeem them. If they perceive that they are being held in captivity, they release them under the custody of the Muslims. It is left to them to determine the course of action based on the emerging circumstances. This is a wise policy that Muslim leaders should adopt. Keywords: Quran, Deduction, Al-Hasan Al-Basri, Interpretation
