Seyyid Kutub'un "Zılâl" tefsiri ile Kuran-ı Kerim aracılığıyla ırkçılık olgusunun ele alınması

This research addresses the phenomenon of racial discrimination and its treatment in the Holy Quran through the interpretation of "In the Shade of the Quran" by Professor Sayyid Qutb. The research aims to highlight the Quranic treatments of racial discrimination, which is a prevalent phenomenon in Muslim and other societies, and has negative effects that threaten social unity and well-being. Legal solutions have failed to effectively combat this phenomenon, necessitating the identification of the nature of this social phenomenon and its negative impacts, as well as highlighting the Quranic remedies for racism to achieve a cohesive and cooperative society. The researcher adopted an inductive-analytical methodology, and the research concludes that racism is an ancient yet contemporary phenomenon that manifests in various forms such as racial discrimination based on gender, color, or ethnicity. Treating this phenomenon, as viewed by Sayyid Qutb, is based on important principles including monotheism, which is the fundamental truth upon which the universe is built, followed by the unity of human origin that establishes the principle of equality among all people. It also involves following the Quranic methodology, which encompasses a comprehensive divine approach encompassing justice and goodness in its entirety. Additionally, it entails establishing social justice that ensures the realization of complete human equality.
