Abstract (EN)
In this research, the effects of silicon ration changes in the continuous casting of AA1050 alloy produced by twin roll casting method on the mechanical properties of aluminum sheets were investigated. The aim of this study is; is to improve the mechanical properties of AA1050 aluminum alloys which are produced under operating conditions after the casting and H00 annealing. For this purpose, it is aimed to observe the effects of the change in the amount of alloy elements which contribute to the strength of AA1050 alloy. The silicon element has been studied and its effect on mechanical properties has been investigated. The 6 mm thick plates, which were poured by using different rations of silicon in weight, were applied with a rust rolling and 2.90 mm thick homogenization annealing. After homogenization annealing, certain samples were rolled to the final thicknesses of 0.32, 0.41 and 0.59 mm with specific crushing rates and turned into aluminum plate samples by annealing at H00 conditions. The effects of different silicon contents on mechanical properties, grain size and sample internal structure were investigated. In addition, the hardness values of the slab and H00 annealing plates were measured and compared. 6 mm thick sheets, which have been used in different proportions by using silicon, were turned into final thicknesses of 0.32, 0.41 and 0.59 mm by rolling and turned into aluminum plate samples by annealing under H00 conditions. The effects of different silicon contents on the mechanical properties and particle size, the internal structure of the sample were examined and the hardness values of the post-cast and H00 annealed plates were measured.
