Abstract (EN)
The mühimme registers comprise one of the most important register series of Ottoman archives. The decisions taken in Divan-ı Hümayun (imperial council in Ottoman Empire) are recorded in these registers. They are very significant for Ottoman Empire because they include very important decisions from the councils in whic both Sultan and the Grand Vizier presided. İn this study, the Mühimme Register 111 has been transcribed and evaluated. İn the register, there are events such as banditry, latrocination, bodily harm, home invasion, rebellion and tyrannize ower thesociety. The struggle of the Ottoman Empire against the bandits, the way and measures taken during this struggle are the basis of the provisions. Besides banditry, there are issues such as the repair and construction of mosques, churches, buildings, and making up the shortages in the navy. The dates of the provisions on the transcribed pages are H. 1110-1113 M. 1698-1702.
