There are many notebook series within the Ottoman Archive. One of them is Mühimme notebooks. The Mühimme notebooks are the books where the decisions taken in the divan-ı humayun are recorded. İn this study pages 508.-709. of Numbered 111 Mühimme Register Notebook has been translated and evaluated. Provisions in the sections examined It belongs to 2nd Mustafa period and the date range is 1700-1702. It includes the provisions of the period immediately after the signing of the Karlofça agreement, where the Ottoman Empire lost its territory for the first time. With this agreement that stopped the long wars in the west, the Ottoman Empire turned inward. It was emphasized in the documents that the interior affairs should be dealt with during the ceasefire. For this reason, the content of the provisions is mostly related to military, administrative arrangements, arbitration and arrangement of cisr, palanka, fortresses and harbors, timar and zeamet arrangements, and control of the military class. Apart from this, issues such as the settlement of the Turkmen and Noga, the Baghdad, Basra expedition, the dispute between the Tunisia-Algeria-Tripoligarb quarries, the bandit activities and the Ottoman struggle with the bandits, the Ottoman-Venice border dispute.
