Abstract (EN)

One of the primary sources for analyzing the socio-cultural and economic life of the Ottoman Empire is the tereke records in the Shar'iyye Registers. These records provide information on social and economic life such as all kinds of movable and immovable properties of the owners of the tereke, as well as their receivables and payables. In this study, 134 tereke records written in the Monastir Shar'iyye Registry No. 118, which was written between 1855-1856, were analyzed and classified and information about them was tried to be given. The study consists of three parts. In the first part, the historical process and the importance of the tereke documents are explained and information about the content of the Manastır Shar'iyye Registry No. 118 is given by analyzing it in detail. In the second part, the types of documents in the registry are divided into two. In the first heading, the table explaining who the tereke records belonged to was used as a starting point and information about the owners of the tereke was given. Then, while trying to explain the accidents, neighborhoods and villages of Manastır, names of people and their professions written in the tereke records, more detailed information is given by adding tables. The items written in the records are divided into headings according to their types and information about them is given. In the second chapter, information about the narh documents is given and the examples found in the registry are explained. In the third section, the Shar'iyye Registry No. 118 is written in accordance with the simple transcription method.
