Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this study to examine the effects video games into the motoric characteristics of the 12-15 age children. At the 12-15 age group; total 100 children whose 50(25 boys, 25 girls) exercise group and the other 50(25 boys, 25 girls) control group had participated in to this study by getting the permission from their families. At the applications on the exercise group, the Xbox resemblance protocol with the content of ready programme that is as the 2 days 40 minutes at each week throughout 8 weeks had been applied. At the research, a pre-test and a post-test were used to measure height weight, active jump, flexibility, force measurement with hand force dynamometer, leg strength, endurance (Yo-Yo IR-1) and speed. The analysies, the level of meaning significance at the spss statistics programme had been accepted as 0,05. The differences between the values of performance at excercise and control groups had been evaluated with "t", test at the independent gorups. Any difference at the values of age, heigth, weigth of body the index of body mass between the groups hadn't been observed. Flexibility, paw force (right), paw force (left), leg strength test, active jump, peak anaerobic power, mean anaerobic power, Yo-Yo IR-1, MaxV2 (kg / min / ml) performance values in exercise group There was a significant increase in pre-test and post-test values (p <0.05) speed values hadn't been difference observed (p>0,05). A meaningful difference at the motoric tests between excercise group and control group hadn't been observed (p>0,05). As a result of this study, it was observed that active video games were slightly effective on motoric properties in children aged 12-15 years, but did not affect motoric values. This subject requires more research. .Key words: Motor Specifications, Video games, Simulation
