Comparision of teaching tecniques of mothertongue in Turkey and England between the ages 12 to 15

Language which creates nations from groups of people, is an important communication toll. We mustn't ignore the effect of language on developing of nations through social life, science and art. Therefore teaching of native language and preparing the program of this education is an important mission. In various terms, the countries in the World has prepared curriculums which belongs to their own education systems. These curriculums has always been renewed to cope with the changes and to develop. Related to Turkish teaching; totally 8 curriculums have been prepared since today. The last curriculum has been started to use since 2018. In England the curriculum of teaching English- mother tongue- renewed in 2014 and has still been used. In this study there is the comparision of English native language curriculum; traditionally built, national based and which could success to train high qualified people, with Turkish native language curriculum; in the ways of teaching 4 skills of language, teaching of grammar, assesment and evoluation and teaching philosophies. This study includes four main parts. In this study; Turkish Language class curriculum and English Language class curriculum sustaining its traditional structure, national based and raising high-level individuals were studied comparatively in respect to four basic language skills and course books used in classes. The study consists of three main parts. Conceptual framework is provided in the first part. The second part looks at Turkish Education System , Native Language Teaching / Turkish Language Teaching and English Education System / Native Language Teaching . The third part includes findings and comments . The sources used in the study are shown in the ''References'' section ; the attachments are shown in the ''appendix'' section. The information and skills which are wanted to be taught to students between 12 -15 compared through two countries' national language teaching curriculums.
