Look and "See" redif poetry in 16th the Divan poetry

In this study, "look" and "see" redif ghazals in 16th Century Classical Turkish Literature were examined, and the reasons why divan poets chose these redifs and 30 ghazals determined in the 16th century were tried to be explained. The leading works of Classical Turkish Literature is the Quran. There are many verses in the Quran about looking and seeing. Considering that poets can be inspired by these verses, the verses of the Holy Quran which are the source of these verses are mentioned. Some examples of hadiths about looking and seeing from hadith books, some of the idioms and proverbs related to look and see commonly used in our language are given. In addition, in Sufism which is another source of divan literatüre looking and seeing were searched for this purpose. Then, in the 16th century, poets who wrote "look" and "see" redif ghazals were tried to be identified. An attempt was made to briefly reflect the social and literary atmosphere of the period and to give information about poets. In the 16th century, the number of poems of poets who wrote poetry "look" and "see" redif ghazals was limited to thirty and identified 30 ghazals were tried to be annotated and explained. It is tried to understand the background of the poems, the thoughts, verses and hadiths which are influenced by the ghazals selected for the study of commentary, and it was tried to determine the world of imagination and imagery of poets. At the beginning of the thesis, the texts were given as a whole in Ottoman Turkish letters and were written in a translation writing system. A small vocabulary of unknown words in the couplet has been created and the couplets have been translated into modern Turkish. Then, couplets were tried to comment.
