Political and social structure of the sauds in 1740-1891

In our study, the establishment, rise and collapse processes of the First and Second Saudi States, which were realized with the contributions of the Wahhabism movement formed by Mohammed bin Abdulvehhab, are discussed in detail. The Wahhabism movement, which dates back to the 18th century, is an event with religious, political, social and historical foundations that emerged in a society composed entirely of Arabs. In this study, in addition to the processes of the First and Second Saudi States, the birth of the Wahhabism movement, the foundations on which it is based, its progress during the spread and elimination processes are discussed. In the first part of our study, information about the Saudis and the Wahhabism Movement is given, and the establishment, rise and collapse processes of the First Saudi State are discussed in detail. While mentioning the role of Wahhabism in these processes, the effective roles of the Ottoman State and Egyptian Governor Mehmet Ali Pasha in this process are mentioned. In the second part, the events experienced during the period from the establishment of the Second Saudi State to its collapse, its relations with the Ottoman State and England, and the activities of Mehmet Ali Pasha in the region are explained in detail. Quotations taken from foreign sources have been translated into Turkish by me.
