Abstract (EN)

Personal Resources Mobilization in the Eastern Front of 1828-1829 Ottoman-Russo War This thesis tries to reveal human resources mobilization at eastern front of 1828-1829 Ottoman-Russo War. This war was the first conflict in Ottoman State after fundamental reforms which began with Sultan Mahmut the Second. Just before the war, Janissary troops had been abolished and Asâkir-i Mansure had just been founded in order to be primary foundation of regular army. In the military reform era, Ottoman State tried different ways to build an army at eastern front. Collecting mercenaries which has been seen since before, is the one of these ways. With the possibility of the war occuring in Ottoman lands, government mobilizied Muslim population and collect Nefir-i Âmm soldier. Besides these, Caucassian folk and Kurdish tribes has been assambled. Keywords: Mobilization, Ottoman-Russo War, II.
