Özet (EN)

İn this work, it was handled was done in the Eastern Front during the Ottoman-Russian war in 1828?1829 and the Treaty of Adrianopole (Edirne) which put an end war.Russia was followed continuously a spreading policy after it had become a state. One of the fundamental aims of this spreading policy was Caucasus. Russians knowing importance of Caucasus and aimed at themselves land to warm seas. Were not pulled drug from this region in nothing period of time of history.Russia was moved again with this aim in 1828 and declarated of war to the Ottoman Empire by some excuses. Russia, by progressing with not much in number but well educated Russian ones in in the Ottoman?s lands in a short time, occupied a lot of big and little castle as Anapa, Kars, Ahılkelek, Kertvis, Ahıska, Poti, Özürketi, Açkor and Bayezid. İt had resulted in war due to the causes as bringing near of winter season and plague epidemic and 1928?s operation resulted in a serious defeate of Ottoman Empire.Ottoman Empire moved again in the spring of 1829 aiming at make up for lost ground back and take out Russians have occupied Erzurum and Bayburd by quickly progressing and they have approached up to Trabzon.The war which come to an end with the treaty of Adrianopole on the 14th September 1829, has resulted in entirely defeate for the Ottoman Empire. Treaty of Adrianopole has forget Ottoman Empire to pay a great amount of demages, causes that it lost a lot of land. They have lost the castles of Anapa, Ahıska, Ahılkelek and Poti with great importance and other where defeated was evacuated by Russians.
