Abstract (EN)

Temettu means profit and gain. It's plural form is Temettuat. In the Ottaman Empire, Temettuat was prepared for detecting the economical situation of the population in the 19th century. In Temettuat Tax Books, people's names, nicknames, jobs, annual earnings, lands and animals were recorded. In this study, the Temettuat Tax Books which the Ottoman Empire started to use after the Tanzimat period were mentioned. Eskişehir province's Mihalgazi district has 19 Tax Books. Among these Tax Books, 6 of them were used and transcripted. With the help of this, Eskişehir's social and economic status was tried to explain. As a graduate study, villages' tax books whose names were given below from Mahalgazi district of Eskisehir starboard in Hudavendigar state were transcripted and examined. VİLLİAGE OF KOYUNLU (ML.
