Abstract (EN)

Armenians rebelled at many cities of Anatolia by support of European countries. The Erzurum Event at 1890 which was started at centre of city than became very big munity that started from İstanbul and circulate to the villages and towns of Anatolia where Armenians live. By this Armenians provided the intervention of big countries to Armenian Question and planned to establish a country of Armenia at Eastern Anatolia.When we look at the starting form of munities, all of them were started by Armenians. It isn?t coincidence the choice of Friday Prayer time where Muslims are together or the Sundays of crowded towns, it is planned and organised convulsion not coincident. The goal of our study is The Role of Redif Battalions, which was the one of the precaution of Ottoman State, in Keeping Under of These Munities. Physical and moral affects of Armenian Munities were too much and also not known well. Consequently at this study Redif Battalions who were recruited because of Armenian Munities, the fiscal cost of this battalion, their activities and duty stations were introduced.Key Words: Armenians, Insurrection, Ottoman, Redif Battalions
