Abstract (EN)

Ottoman State, XVIII. He struggled with many problems in the country and abroad until the 19th century. As a result of this situation, it started to decline in terms of both maritime and economic activities. XVIII. The need for a strong navy arose during the Ottoman Empire's struggles, especially with Russia. In this period, both the port of Sinop and the shipyard were in an important position for the Ottoman State. The proximity of the port of Sinop to the northern regions of the country and the ease of transportation of soldiers, provisions and ammunition made from here played an important role in the state's preference. The products produced both in Sinop and in various cities of Anatolia were transferred from here to the other coasts of Crimea, Russia, Rumelia and the Black Sea. It was not only exported from the specified locations, but also in products grown in Sinop's accidents such as Boyabat, Gerze, Ak Liman, Küplüağzı. On the other hand, import trade was carried out in the port of Sinop where the export trade continued. Products were purchased by shopping in many cities such as Rumelia, Moldavia, Russia, Crimea, Kefe, Egypt, Morocco, France. However, as a result of this live trade network, the Ottoman State's conflicts with Russia in the Black Sea, the privileges it has given over time and the inability to catch up with the developing technology, the advantage here has begun to lose. Sinop XVIIII, which was the center of the Black Sea transit trade until this century after these events. It started to lose its importance in the century.
