Master degree thesis core 'native and foreing artists who used the passenger car as an icon in the art of painting between 1906-2008

In this work titled as 'native and foreign artists who used the passenger car as an icon in the art of painting between 1906-2008' artists who used this great invention in their works that had interesting designs and brought speed concept with them were evaluated.In this research evalution of the creations of native and foreign artists who used the passanger car as an icon in the art of painting between 1906-2008 was targetted.Effect of passanger cars which are consumption objects at the same time on people by design point of view and esthetic factors was evaluated.The research was figured on surveillance method.Some of the research data was collected by semi-structured interview technic and document analysis which are emong qualitative research technics.Besides survey was used for determining factors which effect brand loyalty of users and buying passanger car tendancies.In the first part of this research art and art movements were mentioned.In the second part history of designing and production of the car, social and cultural effects on designing, car and humanbeing relationship and trademark addiction were mentioned.In the third part information about native and foreign artists who used the passenger car as an icon in the art of painting was given,by using the results gained from face to face interview method point of views of one automobile designer and one automobile artist were alluded.In order to prove factors which effect brand loyalties of the users and analysing the automobile buying tendencies,applied survey results were evaluated.Keywords: Passanger Car, Automobile, Car and Designing, Production of Car, Socio-Cultural, Symbol, Trademark.
