Abstract (EN)
Maintaining health services during the National struggle required as many sacrifices and efforts as forming a front in a period when the number of healthy people is limited.Turkish public made a great struggle despite the oppression andpressure by the minorities.Moreover,at times some medical operations are performed inflicting a lot of pain on the patients and making them wail.What is worse is thatsome patients either caught tetanus because of the absence of iodine or suffered from tourniquet shortage.Turkish nation is a mighty nation that founded Turkish state despite all hardships.Turkish nation opened Turkish Grand National Assembly and continued national struggle despite the hardships.The public,venturing being hungry,gave away all that they have to their soldiers fighting in the fronts.The aim of this study is to state the general health of Turkish public during the national struggle and to imply how much they struggled to deal with this situation.
