Deputies and activities of Siirt between 1920 and 1950

With this thesis, the activities of Siirt Deputies in the Parliament were discussed in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in a total of 8 periods between 1920 and 1950. This research aimed to reveal the activities of the deputies who served between 1920 and 1950 such as their résumés, their positions in the Parliament, their proposals and their speeches. The study covers a total of 8 periods that took place between 1920 and 1950. As Siirt deputy in parliament in the period 1st 6 MP, 2 MP in the 2nd period, 3rd period, 2 MP, 2 MP 4th period 5th period 6 MP, 5 MP 6th period, 7th period, 5 MP, 8 th period 4 deputy he has served. Among the deputies who served in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey during the 1920-1950 periods are the deputies who served more than one term. Considering these, the number of deputies serving in the 8th term was 20. By examining the activities of the said deputies during their periods of office, the commissions they participated in and the duties they took on were also examined. In the research, it was determined that Siirt lawmakers, whether they have their own election circles, Turkey’s agenda, take up and bid on issues like this, and make speeches on issues they consider important.
