Abstract (EN)
Very important events were taking place in Turkey at the beginning of the 20th century. The Second Constitutional Movement, The Tripolitanian War, the Balkan Wars, the First World War, and then the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the occupation of Anatolian lands by the Entente States and, finally, the great victory of the National Struggle and the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey are the main events that marked this period. The revolutions that were implemented after the establishment of the Republic have also found their place among the remarkable elements of the socio-cultural, economic and political life of the country. The subject of the research is the works of Soviet intellectuals who covered all these processes that took place in Turkey at the beginning of the 20th century and especially in the 1920's. The works of the mentioned authors, which we use as sources, were published in the 1920's. In our work, Soviet intellectuals, whose names are hardly heard, R. Süleyman, M. P. Pavlovich, V. A. Gurko-Kryajin, F. A. Raskolnikof and P. Kitaygorodski were introduced and their works about Turkey were examined comparatively. After the study, it was concluded that the mentioned authors and their works are not valued by scientific circles. As it is known, in the 1920's, the Soviets were in close contact with Turkey. Although the good relations existing between these two states were replaced by cold relations over time, the Soviet interest in Turkey has never decayed. The study of Soviet sources will contribute to the elucidation of the history of the period and the Soviet approach to Turkey. In this study, an example of this was made and the gaps seen in the Soviet perspective on Turkey were partially tried to be eliminated.
