The research of Afyon Community Center Taşpınar Magazine between 1932-1950

With the establishment of Turkish Republic, some changes accured in society and there was a neeed for foundations that spread these changes to people and make people to adapt them. So, Community Centers were established by Atatürk for the purpase of public acceptance of reforms, elimination of connection between villagers and urban. Afyon Community Center was one of the first established fourteen community centers in 19th February 1932. İt affected social and cultural life in Afyon until the closune of the institution. İt abserved the country's agenda almast immediately. Our research has one introduction and four main parts. In the introduction part; information about community centers is provided Moreaver, the activities of Turkish institutions that provided a basis for community centers, the establishment and activities of community centers and their departments are given. İn the first part; the establishment, activities and departments of Afyon Community Center are emphasized. In the second part; the shapes, the name, the aims and topics of Taşpınar Magazine are included. Also, information about privileged managers and writers is given. In the thurd part, the content analysis of Taşpınar Magazine is done and the topics about folklore are classified with their headlines. Furthermore, the bibliography of 161 numbered Taşpınar Magazine appear in the last part. In appendix; the design of cover page, several examples and photos are included.
