The evaluation of woman image in Turkish painting artin terms of sociological between the years 1940 and 1970's

The aim of this research is to ascertain the situation of giving messages sociologically in some artists Works who treat the woman image in their paintings between the 1940 and 1970's.The research was carried out in general survey model and the data were collected through literatu rereview, thesis and article review, and domestic and foreign written sources. The cosmos of the research is formed by the artists who used the woman image in their paintings,ın Turkish Painting Art between the 1940 and 1970's and as a sample the ones chosen from these artists, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, Nuri İyem, Nurullah Berk and Turgut Zaim studied.The lives of these artists , theire ducational background, the period they livedand public affairs are examined and these issues are associated with their Works and analysed. As a result of the research , it is conferred that our artists mentioed in ourre search between 1940 and 1970's are affected by social events and these effects redounded on their art.Besides, it is seen that by using their own techniques and the mode ,they created unique works of art. It is seen clearly that the art comes from the iner society, is effected by social affairs ,tells us to us again ,and it is a documentarist.. It is in sight that in terms of art and social ,how important is the woman who is the statement of social reality, is picturised as expressionist, local and unique.
