Tissue in Turkish art of painting after 1950

In the study, the component of tissue in Turkish art of painting was studied in a theoretical framework after 1950. Besides, it was aimed to identify the views of artists about the component of tissue who came into prominence by using the component of tissue in their paintings.In the first part of the research, the definition of the tissue, the common characteristics of the tissues,the perception of the tissues, the formation of the tissues is explained, and as the types of the tissues natural tissue, virtual (imitation) tissue, actual tissue, optic tissue and dynamic tissues were explained. In addition to these, the Turkish Painting Art after 1950 is discussed and the place and importance of tissue in Turkish Painting Art is explained.In the second part of the study, the modal of the study, participants, the process of collecting data, the analysis and the interpretation of the data take place. The research was patterned with scooping methodology.In the research, with the purposeful sampling technique, six artists who attracts attention in Turkish art of painting with the fact of tissue on canvas were determined as sample. Interviews with Devrim Erbil, Mehmet Güleryüz, Halil Akdeniz, Erkan Özdilek, Ahmet Yeşil ve Ünsal Kınıklı took place due to their use of tissue in their paintings.In this study, half-formed interview questions were used in relation to the problem of this research. While analyzing the data, content analysis was used. The process carried out in the basis of content analysis, is uniting the similar data in the framework of certain terms and themes and commenting and arranging them in a way that readers can understand. The findings defined in the research were explained, related and commented by the researcher. Direct quotations from the views of participants were used while commenting the findings.In the third part of the study, the views of the interviewed artists, about the importance of tissue, their views about the change of tissue fact on canvas paintings in Turkish art of painting after 1950, their views about the differences of tissue fact between the Turkish painting artists and European painting artists, their views about the tissue and material of their own paintings take place.
