Themes of 'Self-representation' and globalization relations in İran contemporary art after 1980

When Iranian Contemporary Arts are viewed with a foreign eye, it is possible to find not only artistic aspects, but also many political, cultural and social things belonging to Iranian society. Iranian contemporary artists try to show many political, cultural and social issues of their own society, taking into account local values and global differences. As a person in this multicultural structure in the world, "Self-Representational" has consolidated its place in today's Iranian Contemporary Arts. In our research, the understanding of "self-representation" in Contemporary Iranian Art will be discussed within the framework of the principles of how. In conclusion, it will be presented how Iranian artists, who have a special culture, respond to globalization, and their contributions to Iranian Contemporary Arts with their "self-representation" style will be discussed and our evaluations on this subject will be included.
