Reflection of social-poitical and economic changes in Turkey after to the tears of 2000s

Change is a process that every society experiences. Social change includes the changes taking place at the underlying structures ( political, economical and cultural) of the society. In this sense, changes experienced in Turkey reflect intensely the inter-relations between the underlying structures. Analysing the reflection of the change experienced in Turkey after 1980 to 2000?s constitutes the basic subject of this study. Subjects discussed here arethe immigration, squatting, urbanization, lack of culture, arabesque culture, technological development, consumer society ,new poverty and their effectsto the change in the society.Key words: Change, socio-cultural change, arabesque culture, consumer society, new poverty.
