Özet (EN)
This research has been prepared for the purpose of "Examining the Popular Music Produced Between 1990-2000 in terms of" socio-cultural "and" psycho-social ". In the first phase of the research, the literature was searched and the available sources related to the popular music produced in 1990-2000 and the history of Turkish popular music were examined, pop songs, which were within the research limitations (1990-2000), were found in today's popular social media applications (instagram - youtube, etc.) The 100 most listened songs were determined for the sampling based on the top lists. In the second stage of the study, an "evaluation scale" was prepared in order to objectively evaluate pop songs produced between 1990 and 2000, which constitute the sample group. Considering the opinions of field experts, 10 questions were prepared for the assessment scale. In addition, an introductory card containing the selected "100" pop music song scores and features was created. At the last stage of the research, "100" pop songs produced between 1990 and 2000 were subjected to evaluation scale by examining sound recordings and video samples accompanied by experts in the field, and the data obtained were transformed into numerical data and visual graphics through statistical programs. In the research conducted; In the works produced, an approach consisting of a blend of Western music, electronic music infrastructure studies and Turkish music modal traces is exhibited, in which the social developments that took place between 1990-2000 played an active role in shaping the musical structure of the period, not only in the fields of economic, political, sociological and psychology. One of the differences that distinguishes the period from other popular music movements is the fact that the previous generation musicians supported the young musicians of the period and the understanding of production together was adopted, 90 The promotion of pop music by TV channels, private radios and weekly or monthly published music-magazines, which may have increased the musical diversity, as there was a diversity of commentators, compositions and songwriters throughout the 's, that social media has been an active factor in the promotion and remembrance of Turkish pop music in the nineties today, that the masses can reach music through social media as well as create a crowd through social media pages; Some of the results obtained are that Turkish pop music included in the sample group generally has minor tonality, is measured within the 1-1.5 octave sound limit, with a four-beat rhythmic pattern, and has close ratios in terms of metronome and music duration.
