Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of economical crises that have taken place after 1990 on saving rate is examined through fixed capital investments, final consumption expenditures and deposit interest rate. For this examination, annual data from 1980 to 2016 is used. Firstly, stability of series is analysed by 'ADF and PP unit root tests.' After understanding the stability at first level among series, to analyse whether there is a long term relation among varieties 'Johansen cointegration test' is applied and a long term relation among varieties has been found out. Then, DOLS method is used in the model where saving rates are the dependent variable and the effect of the economical crises on saving rates is examined. According to the result of DOLS method, there is a negative corelation between the economical crisis in 1994 and savings, but not a meaningful relation between the economical crises in 2000-2001 and 2008 and savings.
