Abstract (EN)
Benzimidazole and its derivatives, of these compounds containing mainly nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur, are seen as important pharmacophores in pharmaceutical chemistry and this ring structure is encountered in a number of clinically used drugs. Benzimidazole ring-bearing drugs have a wide range of pharmacological properties such as antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antituberculous, antidiabetic, anticonvulsant antioxidant, antiprotozoal, anticancer, antiviral, antiulcer, antihypertensive, antiparasitic, diuretic, antimalarial, enzyme inhibitors and receptor agonists/antagonists. The 2-amino thiazole ring, like benzimidazoles, is an extremely frequently used pharmacophore in pharmaceutical chemistry. There are drug active ingredients containing 2-aminothiazole ring with antiulcer, antifungal, antitumor, antidiabetic and anticonvulsant activities. The structures of 10 2-(1-piperazinyl)-1H-benzimidazole derivative compounds synthesized in this study were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis, the relationship of the molecule with the active site was examined by molecular modeling, and its antifungal and antibacterial effects were evaluated.
