Abstract (EN)
In this study, 11 acylhydrazone derivatives containing 1H-indole ring were synthesized and biological activity tests were performed. As the starting material, 2-(1H-indol-3-yl)acetohydrazide compound is reacted with various aromatic aldehydes (2a-k) under acid catalysis to produce 2-(1H-indol-3-yl)-N'-(4-substitutedbenzylidene)acetohydrazide derivatives(3a-k) were synthesized. The chemical structures of the synthesized molecules were elucidated using spectroscopic techniques such as FT-IR, 1H-NMR and 13C APT-NMR. In vitro antioxidant, in vitro anticancer, antimicrobial, antifungal, oxidative stress and DNA damage preventive activity studies were performed to examine the biological properties of these compounds (3a-k).
