Abstract (EN)
DahIn this study, one proton transfer salt and eight metal complexes were synthesized. (H2PPZEtOH)2+(2,5-PDC)2- (1) proton transfer salt was obtained from the reaction of 2,5- pyridinedicarboxylic acid (2,5-H2PDC) and 2-(piperazin-1-yl)ethanol (PPZEtOH). (H2PPZEtOH)[Cu(2,5-PDC)2(H2O)].H2O (2) complex was obtained from the proton transfer salt (1), and the mixed ligand coordination polymer, (H2PPZEtNH2){[Cu0.5(PDC)2Cu0.5(H2O)]}n.3H2O (3),was obtained from the reaction of 2,5-pyridine- dicarboxylic acid and 2-(piperazin-1-yl)ethylamine at room temperature. Mixed-ligand coordination polymers {[Cu(BPE)(H2O)][Cu(2,5-PDC)2]}n (4) and (H2BPE){[Cu(2,3-PDC)2]}n (5) were synthesized hidrothermally from the reaction of 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane (BPE) and pyridinedicarboxylic acid (2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid was used for 4 and 2,3-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (2,3-H2PDC) was used for 5). Three coordination polymers with mixed ligands, {[(2,5-PDC)Co(2,5-PDC)Co(BPE)1/2]}n (6), {[Co(2-PC)2H2O]}n.H2O (7) ve {[Co0,5(2,5-PDC)2Co0,5(H2O)4]}n.H2O (8), were obtained from the same reaction solutions of 2,5-PDC and BPE ligands by hydrothermal method. Another cobalt complex with mixed ligands [Co2(2,5-PDC)2(H2O)6].2H2O (9) was formed by the reaction of 2,5-PDC and PPZEtNH2 ligands under mild conditions. The structure of the proton transfer salt was elucidated by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, UV-Vis and FTIR spectral methods, and the structures of the metal complexes (2-9) were elucidated by FTIR, UV-Vis, magnetic susceptibility and single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. In addition, the antibacterial properties of the compounds were tested against various bacteria and their antifungal properties were tested against yeasts. Antibacterial test results were compared with Levofloxacin, Cefepime, Chloromphenicol and Vancomycin, and antifungal test results were compared with Fluconazole and Ketanazole.
