Islamism and Said Nursi in the 2nd Constitutional Period

II.Constitutionalism period,was a rich era by idea and idealogic production. Today's political thinking accumulation, considered that idalogic movement fundamentals filled in that era.Preserving the goverment,preserving the country,in another saying 'Fear of Continuance'were the foundation of those movements.Each movement was based on changing the current situation upside down. Pan-Islamism, had an important place among era's movements.Islamists were gathered around other idealogic movements' (Westernism, Turkism, Ottomanism, Liberalism, Socialism) broadcast. They shown their ideas in newspapers and magazines such as Sıratımüstakim, Sebilürreşad, İslam Mecmuası, Tasavvuf, Volkan Gazatesi. II.Constitutionalism period's ecole pioneers was Said Nursi. Nursi wasn't single acting Islamist. Both sides of Islamism (Civil Islamism-Political Islamism) harbor totalitarian of Islamism understanding. Underdevelopmentness of Islam World and Ottoman Empire, education issues, Westernism problem, becoming authoritative, Islamic innovation were main issues Nursi dealt with. Nursi didn't shown just intellectual/theorical afford to stood up for his ideas he defended. He haven't stood back when necessary turn this ideas pratical among political and social activities. Under this circumstances during the process of declaration of II. Constitutionalism in WW.I, Nursi took active positions during national struggle for independence and institutions like 'İttihad-ı Muhammediye Cemiyeti, Yeşilay Cemiyeti, Darü'l Hikmeti'l İslamiyye'.
