Evaluation of health services in malatya between 2000-2004 years

In this study, it has been aimed to evaluate of health services in Malatya between 2000-2004 years. The data was obtained from Deputy Provincial Health Officer. According to results of this survey, population of Malatya increased in this years. In urban area, population growth rate was higher than rural areas. Dependent young population was higher than older dependent population. In these years, there was a increasing in total alive births and births attended by trained personel. Infant and 0-4 ages mortality rate have been decreased. The most mortality rate was in perinatal stage. It has been seen that infectious and respiratory disease frequently. The most mortal diseases were serebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases. Fullness rate of health staff was higher than rate of Turkey. Health records were kept regularly. Vaccination and birth control services were satisfactory. Overall health indicators have shown parallelism with Turkey. There was no prominent problem in preventive and curative health care services quantitatively. It has been considered that environmental health measurements and health education for healthy life styles would be realized primarily in regard to frequent morbidity and mortality reasons.
