Conservative arts consepts and women after 2000's in Turkey

This study aimed to examine conservative women artists and their productions, which aim to participate in the democratization process and question gender inequality in society by questioning the gender discrimination. The study examines the birth of the concept of "conservatism", what it embraces in Turkey, the pre-Republican and post-Republican debates, and conservative art debates. Within the scope of this study, the theoretical framework, philosophical and sociological background of the subject were discussed, and a research method based on digital ethnography and digital interview data was used to reach qualitative findings. In the preliminary study, the names mentioned in digital ethnography scans were determined and electronic letters were sent with open-ended questions. It is important to conduct this study on women from a feminist point of view; because previous studies on conservative women have been handled with "degeneration in cultural and religious values" and have adopted an attitude that subjects women. In the study, while seeking an answer to the question of who is a conservative woman, the gains women have achieved after the 2000s are tried to be revealed. At the same time, the difficulties faced by women during the elapsed time were tried to be revealed.
