Development of visual effects in Turkish TV series and cinema industry after 2000

In the early cinema period, difficult scenes in films were done in the set environment completely while the camera was recording. This method is called special effects. When the camera is recorded, many effects such as specially prepared dynamite, model cars, demolitions in miniature cities, explosions, car accidents, building demolitions are made in accordance with the stage. After the the development in technology, the field of visual effect in cinema industry is developed and still developing. Especially these effects are visible in Hollywood. The cinema industry in Turkey also had its share from this progress and being influenced by western cinema, it has made many films in the field of visual effects. Within the scope of the study, the historical process is explained with examples under the title of Turkish TV Series and Cinema History in the first part. Examples from the early cinema period are given and directors such as Muhsin Ertuğrul, one of the pioneers of the Turkish cinema industry, are mentioned. Under this title, the first animation example in Turkey is mentioned and the operation of this process is mentioned. Then, the subject of Visual Effects, which is the second part, is explained with its history and examples. In the third part of the study, examples of visual effects in the Turkish cinema and TV series sector are emphasized. In the fourth chapter, sample applications were made and added to the study.
