Özet (EN)

Macedonia was the only state that did not attended war in Yugoslavia. In fact, the return of a formation was like a symptom of the problems that would occur. Because, the geography of the state and the ethnic issue, created by the disintegrating of the state was caused many serious problems. First, bursting problem, occurred due to Macedonian undemocratic state structuring. Macedonians treated Albanians as second-class people, neither admitted their existence, nor allowed them to have a say in the state. They did not neglect to show the population data incomplete and described their nation as the "Macedonian People". At this time, the war of the Albanian organization UCK (Albania Liberation Army) in Kosovo with Serbia was also continuing. The Macedonian State was warned by the UCK to abolish the double standards imposed against Albanians. All this prejudice and fear was hidden in the Macedonian people's thoughts about Albanians living in Macedonia. They thought that the Macedonian Albanians were considering the Great Albania project and that they wanted to establish the Greater Albania state by supporting the existing UCK. In fact, the only thing that Macedonian Albanians wanted was to have equal rights with Macedonians and to live freely in their land. Of course, it never happened. Communication tools, which have become a part of the social structure, emerge as the main source of the formation of thoughts and ideas. Communication tools have an important place in the life of individuals. In this point, media using communication tools gains a constructive social character. The media, which provides information about the course and development of events in the world, contributes to the formation of ideas while doing so and has gained an ideological dimension in this regard. Media, which forms the basis of its constructive social structure, has gained a strong discourse potential with its news that are read and shared by many people around the world. For this reason, news reporting potential is an important factor in terms of one-to-one news analysis and understanding. In this context, war in Macedonia, which is the main subject of our study, discusses the issues of language, discourse and ideology that are influential in the media, taking into account these factors, a step before the news in newspapers. Based on this, concepts such as language, discourse, ideology, news production processes, ideological media discourse in the literature were scanned and the concepts were tried to be clarified. Thus, in the third part, it is aimed to understand the terms and approaches used while analyzing the news discourse.
