The woman perspective to the executed public social policies of women's probem i̇n Turkey between 2002 - 2014: The sample of the city of Yalova

In this article, I aim to make a comprehensive assessment of the restoration of the women rights in Turkey, where gender relations have been transformed in the last 12 years, in the context of how the socially sensitive policies surronding the economics, social and political space, in which the women can not exist as herself, effected the place of women. In my research, I applied emperical methodology as well when investigating the extent of effectiveness and their agents of the social policies on women between 2002-2014 in Turkey. In a general framework, I dealt with the women and women problems in historical process in my thesis, by studying develeoping policies peculiar to women rights. It was attempted to measure the awareness and knowledge of women in the coty of Yalova, following the resolution period regarding the violation of rights and the surveys have been conducted to see their perception about the policies those may effect their status both in their private sphere and public sphere. In total, 155 women has participated to the survey and particularly the perception of their own place in Turkey and their opinions have been taken about the education, health, politics-decision making mechanism, the work life, legal regulations and the policies in the city of Yalova. Analysis of the outcome of answers demonstrated the belief was low to the social sexual equality in the country, (however) the satisfaction about the social policies on women was high. Additionally, it was found they are also not well-informed at all about those policies particilarly in the (inner) city of Yalova, they don't have much idea about implemented policies.
